Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Roam FM (the "App") and any related pages that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Roam FM is a macOS menu bar app that helps you discover and listen to random live radio stations from around the world.

The Service is provided for personal use and is intended to be simple: one click to roam into a station, without browsing or choosing.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with us and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  1. Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Service
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  3. Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  4. Interfere with or disrupt the Service

4. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding third-party content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Roam FM.

5. Third-Party Content

The Service provides access to third-party radio streams. Roam FM does not own, control, or endorse any third-party content. You access third-party content at your own risk.

6. Content Disclaimer

Radio stations accessible through Roam FM are operated by independent third parties. We do not control, review, or endorse the content broadcast by these stations.

Content may include music, talk shows, news, or other programming that may not be suitable for all audiences. You are solely responsible for your listening choices.

If you encounter content that you believe violates applicable laws, please contact the station operator directly.

7. Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. Radio stations may go offline, change URLs, or become unavailable without notice.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when changes are made. If you continue to use the Service after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence.
